Job Purpose:
The system engineer provides technical advice to high-level management and technical personnel, and other entities. Serves as a consultant to other technical experts in the field and provides advice on issues when experts disagree. Makes presentations and writes technical reports and papers in areas of expertise. Responsible for guiding the work through subordinates or other personnel by means of periodic reviews, briefings, reports, or observations.
Duties:
• Articulate and document system functions and requirements
• Communicate and coordinate with the development team and the customer
• Review and analyze customer requirements throughout the development process
• Test Plan and Procedure development
• Requirements analysis and allocation
• Risk analysis, and trade-off studies
• Implement company information assurance, interoperability, and integration policies, directives, and regulations
• Design of the systems architecture
Experience Preferred:
One of more of the following may be required based on the particular program assigned:
• Requirements tools (DOORS, Req Pro), Scheduling tools (MS Project, UML), Generation of Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or equivalent experience
Software Engineers
Job Purpose:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for analyzing designs and documents, developing and testing applications of significant size and/or complexity.
Duties:
• Analyze requirement documents and provide output for functional specification
• Develop and maintain software modules of considerable size and complexity working from written and oral requirements and specification
• Develop prototype versions of software modules and applications
• Mentor and provide technical assistance to junior developers
• Quickly understand and take ownership of existing code
• Participate in the review of code and designs developed
• Provide input on task duration estimation, technical information, and issue resolution.
Experience Preferred:
One or more of the following may be required based on the particular program assigned:
• C, C++, Java, Ada, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, J2EE, UML, Design Patterns, Simulink, Rhapsody, Windows, Unix/Linux, POSIX compliant RTOS, etc.

Technical Writers
Job Purpose:
Develop operation and maintenance manuals through review of documentation, drawings, schematics and reports as well as consultation with technical staff members and published materials. Some analysis of project requirements is also necessary to determine the types of publications needed.
Duties:
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information.
• Comprehends technology by observing production and use; interviewing engineers and designers; studying blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, parts lists, mock-ups, samples, etc.
• Prepares outline by organizing materials.
• Completes outline by composing language for non-technical consumers.
• Verifies comprehension of technology and composition by testing description and instructions.
• Obtains approval of interpretation by submitting draft for approval.
• Maintains resource of technical writing by filing publications.
• Completes projects by coordinating with agencies and typing and printing services.
• Supports development of speeches, articles and news releases by preparing technical descriptions.

Project Managers
Job Purpose:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the overall direction of multiple projects from analysis through implementation for projects. Ensures proper resource support based on tasks defined and provides front-line leadership to associates, project teams, and functional managers.
Duties:
• Serve as project manager for one or more large and complex projects. Responsible for meeting timelines, budget, quality and resource commitments for project(s)
• Manage and coordinate project direction and scope from analysis through implementation
• Define and promote formal communication methods and establish open and consistent communication within the team as well as with the PMO and management.
