Below are a few examples of projects that Genova successfully completed for defense customers.
- Software Communication Architecture (SCA) Genova has worked on an SCA Software Communication Architecture project as part of the Joint Tactical Radio System Platform (JTRS). Genova performed documentation of Software Requirements Specification (SRS) as well as design and development of SCA waveforms, core services, XML Domain Profiles for SCA Compliant Software Defined Radios (SDR). The SCA projects were done for a prime contractor working for the Navy, Air Force, and Army.
- Naval Exchange Command (NEXCOM). Genova worked directly with the Navy to provide design and support for the Navy’s NEXCOM, a secure system that the Navy uses to access email and communicate worldwide from multiple locations. This project required network support and design and implementation of a secure system across multiple domains.
- Advantage Node Network. This project was conducted for a prime working for the Army. This project involved designing and writing code in C / C++ for a Lynx OS Real Time Operating System (RTOS). This project allowed message packets to be prioritized and expedited in a mission critical environment where timely information flow is a key to success.
- Navy Expedited Ordering System. Genova worked directly with the Navy to port existing Oracle based code to a web service architecture to allow the Navy to securely order parts worldwide from any domain.
