The company was founded by Dawn Ainger, who is the current CEO and Owner. Dawn has earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering and built a company around her core strengths, software engineering.
Genova began in Cedar Rapids Iowa (home to Ms. Ainger), and rapidly became a trusted supplier of embedded avionics software to Rockwell Collins (also in Cedar Rapids, Iowa). Genova has built on this embedded avionics expertise over the years.
Genova is certified CMMI Maturity Level 3 processes (2012) and holds a CAGE Code 1TBS6. This represents Genova’s continuing adherence to process improvement and strict security requirements in order to deliver quality software products in secure environments. This same discipline has served Genova well in both the government and commercial markets.
