Genova Technologies sent a representative from the IT department to Intel Focus 2016, which was held November 1 – 3 in Las Vegas, NV.  Genova attended with the goal of keeping up with the latest trends in Cyber Security.  The conference discussed a wide variety of security topics, ranging from trends in AntiVirus to building threat intelligence to protecting medical data and our electrical grid’s infrastructure.

 

Highlights included keynote speakers Ashton Kutcher and Ted Koppel, and Intel’s announcement of OpenDXL framework.  OpenDXL is designed to allow hardware and software to work together more seamlessly, with the goal of bringing stronger data protection to our critical information, and providing better intelligence to IT.
