Lori G, an engineer who frequently refers to herself as “our favorite,” enjoys playing a dog sport called flyball. It’s a relay-type team sport where 4 dogs take turns jumping hurdles, catching a ball, and returning over the hurdles with the ball. Lori has two dogs of her own playing and a third one is in its well-deserved retirement. All three of her dogs have earned a combined total of 50 titles, but Lori’s favorite title is Regional MVP earned by her 3-legged dog, Gabby. If it’s the weekend, chances are you’ll find Lori and her dogs either at a flyball tournament or practicing for the next one. During the week, she’s also been known to occasionally sneak a dog into Genova for a few minutes.
