It’s December at Genova, and all through the court
We seem to agree that the year has felt short.
For our updated breakroom we got a TV
For movies and FoxNews and CNBC.
Our holiday party was a swanky affair
Downtown in the Vets’ Hall, you should have been there!
In March, we had Pi Day, oh what a treat
There was raspberry and blueberry… too much to eat.
Our midsummer picnic was oh so much fun
There was laughter and games and food on a bun.
Later in the summer, our dogs came to work
The office just loved this wonderful perk.
We wore nerdy t-shirts to show our geek pride
Dweebs, nerds and geeks, we’re all bona fide!
Before summer ended, we got a new grill
We’d cook up our food, sit outside and chill.
We had a retirement… our coworker Jay
He worked here for years, now it’s time to go play.
Halloween brought to us costumes and treats
And work areas garnished with ghosts made from sheets.
We adopted a family for Christmas this year,
purchasing gifts and bringing them cheer.
We now look ahead to twenty eighteen
And hope it’s the best year that we’ve ever seen.
