The holiday season is always packed with fun and festivities at Genova, and this year was no different. Our team had a blast celebrating our annual “Cookies, Cocoa and Crazy Christmas Sweater” event on 12/13. All of our Cedar Rapids location Team gathered to enjoy snacks, competitive gingerbread house decorating, wrapping presents, playing a few “reindeer games” and voting on craziest holiday sweaters. Watching our engineers attempt to strategically drop candy canes on a string and race holiday ornaments down the hallway was quite the treat. All of this with classic Christmas films playing in the background… you couldn’t have wished for a better day.
While we certainly enjoyed celebrating, we did not forget the season is also about giving. Genovians were honored to be able to adopt a local family in need for the holidays. Team members purchased gifts for the entire family of 6 as well as stocked their pantry, in hopes of putting smiles on their faces and spreading a bit of holiday cheer.
